Log Cabin's Jurnee
DOB:  July 1, 2015
Sire:  Ausable Valley's Freestyle
Dam:  Ideuma Creek's Peruvian Renaizance

Jurnee has been one of those special crias, and not only because she was our only 2015 cria. She was eating grain at 1 month old, halter trained at 4 months and has grown into a big solid girl with silky soft fiber.

Jurnee is carrying on the tradition of beautiful  fibered crias from our true black herdsire Freestyle. This is Freestyle's first light colored cria, and she is a beauty.

Cooper was our youngest cria in 2014, he entered the show ring unshorn and turned heads. He place 3rd under judge Wade Gease is his first show. His comment was, This little guy's fleece is electrifying, watch out once he is shorn!
At the Showtacular in October 2015, he placed 1st under judge Peter Kennedy in a full class of 16.

Meet Log Cabin's Zebulon
Zebulon is a dark/medium fawn (depending on the light in the ring) Future Herdsire.  We are very proud to announce that Zeb was named the Color Champion at the STA Hummdinger Shorn Show in August.  Zeb has placed in all the shows he has attended, placing 3rd at Northeast Expo, and recently placing 4th in both the ring and fleece show at a very conpetitive Empire Trifecta Show and 6th at the North  American Alpaca Show.   Zeb returned to the Northeast Expo in May 2013 and placed 3rd as a yearling.  A lady approaced us at the Northeast Show and bought his Zeb's blanket once he was shorn.  She could not wait to get it home and start working with it.
Zebulon is a handsome yearling  male  that comes from great lineage. Zeb has great dense fleece, beautiful staple length, and excellent crimp.
Unfortunately, he is related to many of our girls, and we already have a medium fawn herdsire with his lineage standing sire in our barn.
We are offering him for an amazing $1500.  We really hate to part with him, but he is herdsire quality and deserves an opportunity to breed.

Learn more about Log Cabin Alpacas
Our farm is nestled in the hills of south central New York. Although we are only three miles off a major highway, our beautiful log cabin sets peacefully on 18.5 acres.
How quickly the months/years have flown by since starting in the alpaca business. Our knowledge grows everyday, and we find ourselves hardly being able to stay away from the barn during our free time.  Like every year, we anxiously await the birth of our summer cria.  Soon the barn will be filled with seven new babies.
